The web panel
panel.authentigate.gg lets you set up AuthentiGate for your server from any browser. A change you make there applies straight away, the same as running the bot's commands in Discord.
Signing in
Press Log in with Discord. Discord shares two things with the panel:
- Your profile: your username and avatar, so the panel knows who you are.
- Your server list: so it can show the servers you manage.
The panel never sees your password or your messages, and it can't post as you.
Who can use it
You need Manage Server in a server to open it in the panel. Staff roles from /moderation let your team use the bot's moderation commands in Discord, but they don't give access to the panel.
The server list comes from Discord when you log in. If you were just given Manage Server, log out of the panel and back in.
What you can do there
- Overview: the setup checklist, which permissions AuthentiGate is missing, and recent settings changes.
- Verification: the Verified, age, region, gender and pronoun roles, the age requirement, and posting or updating the Verify message.
- Moderation: staff roles; which actions need a reason or DM the member; confirming kicks and bans; appeals; common reasons; lockdown channels; starting a lockdown (end it with
/lockdown endin Discord); raid, account age, anti-nuke and spam trap settings; the escalation ladder; AutoMod rules; and moderation cases, including editing a case's reason. - Tickets: add and remove categories and panels, each category's questions, choose what happens when a ticket closes and when quiet tickets close, post or update a panel's message, and see recent tickets.
- Logs: create the log channels, pick which ones to use, and read every settings change, made in the panel or in Discord, with who made it. You can export the list as a CSV file.
- Premium: see your server's plan, subscribe, and manage billing.
- Messages: change the wording of AuthentiGate's messages in your server, such as the Verify message's title, text, button labels and colour. Placeholders in braces are filled in when the bot sends the message, a preview shows how the message looks in Discord, and Reset to default puts the bot's own wording back. Messages already posted, like the Verify message, change when you update them in Discord.
Some settings are still only in Discord: a ticket category's channel and staff roles. Use /tickets for those; see Configuration.
