Configuration
Everything about AuthentiGate is set up inside Discord, with these commands. All of them need Manage Server.

- Age requirement: None, +18, +21, +25, +30, +40 or +50.
- Below the requirement: only the Verified role is withheld, or every managed role is taken away.
- The bot only touches roles you mapped. Its role must be above every mapped role.
- New members get their roles when they join, and changes are applied to everyone automatically. Use Resync everyone in
/setupafter editing roles by hand (once every 10 minutes).
Log channels
Nine logs, each to its own channel or turned off: Join, Verification, Admin, Mod, Reports, Appeals, Leave, Change, Tickets. Set them in /logs. Without a Reports channel, members can't send reports; without an Appeals channel, the Appeal button isn't offered.
Staff tiers
Set in /moderation → Staff. A tier can do everything the tiers below it can:

- Somebody with the matching Discord permission (Ban Members for a ban, and so on) can act without a tier. A tier only ever adds; it never takes a permission away.
- Changing who is staff needs Manage Server.
- Important: slash commands are shown by default only to members with the matching Discord permission. For staff whose roles lack it, allow their roles on the commands in Server Settings → Integrations → AuthentiGate.
Moderation rules
In /moderation → Reasons, DMs and appeals: common reasons, which actions need a reason, which actions DM the member, whether kicks and bans ask for confirmation, and whether appeals are on.
